A short story

The last time we tried to switch property-management software, the demo ended with the salesperson asking how many units we managed. Not because they cared what we needed — because that's how they priced.

That conversation kept happening to other operators we knew, and the more we looked at the category, the more it seemed like every option was an old database with a new coat of paint and a per-unit pricing model.

Meanwhile, agents that can read and write a database, schedule work, and talk to humans got dramatically better in the last 18 months.

So we built Compass.

Three things that are different

It's free. Not "free for 14 days." Not "free under 5 units." Free forever. We made a deliberate choice not to have a per-unit pricing tier because we don't think property managers should be punished for growing.

It's AI-first by design. The chat isn't a wrapper around the screens — both run on the same data, the same permissions, and the same business rules. Ask first, click only when you need to.

It's multi-company by design. One login, any number of companies. Each company's data is fully isolated, so a forgotten filter can't ever leak one company's residents into another's dashboard.
